FIELD: fire-fighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to primary fire extinguishing means, in particular, to a method for producing a microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent based on perfluoro(ethyl-isopropyl ketone) (perfluoroketone). The method for producing a stable microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent based on perfluoro(ethyl-isopropyl ketone) includes the stages of preparing an emulsion by dispersing perfluoro(ethyl-isopropyl ketone) in an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, synthesising resorcine-glyoxalic oligomer in a separate reactor while constantly maintaining the pH within the range of 7 to 10 for 1 hour at room temperature, adding the resulting resorcine-glyoxalic oligomer to the perfluorine(ethyl-isopropyl ketone) emulsion while constantly stirring at 500 rpm, holding the resulting suspension of a microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent for one hour, holding isothermally at a temperature of 30 to 60°C for 20 hours, followed by stopping the stirring, washing the resulting suspension, filtering and drying.
EFFECT: production of a stable microencapsulated perfluoroketone-based fire extinguishing agent suitable for long-term storage, transportation and operation at temperatures significantly exceeding the boiling point of the fire extinguishing agent, without using toxic substances of hazard class 1 and 2.
