FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for separation of solid materials and can be used for glass washing, in particular broken glass or glass combat, as well as to separate broken glass and glass wastes from debris and decomposition products, which are often associated with glass wastes and can be found in domestic and industrial wastes. In addition, can be used for separation and washing of organic material, in particular fibrous organic material, from solid particles, dirt or other contaminants to obtain initial material for industrial biological processes, including production of biofuel, but not limited to it. Device for separating solid materials comprises a channel for receiving liquid and materials to be separated, with a mixing surface, means for directing fluid flows to materials to be separated, enabling pushing materials along mixing surface and towards it by means of fluid medium flows for separation of said materials. Device is designed so that during operation heavier material is pushed along lower part of said channel under action of fluid medium flows to outlet and lighter material separated from heavier material rises to liquid surface. Mixing surface comprises a plurality of structures, each of which passes through at least part of the width of the channel and comprises an ascending surface and a descending surface, wherein at least a portion of the ascending surface has a steeper inclination relative to the base of the channel than the descending surface. Device is used for separation of solid materials, in which heavier material is a material accumulation, such as glass scrap, lighter material is garbage, or heavier material is a contaminant, lighter material is biofuel, or heavier material is a contaminant, and lighter material is a starting material for biofuel.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of separation of solid materials.
