FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for osteosynthesis in multiple flotation fractures. Device for treating multiple floating rib fractures comprises sternal center rods, rib rods, rib hooks, longitudinal supports for lateral rib fragments, central longitudinal support for sternum, two plates made curved in shape of ribs, with slots arranged along longitudinal axis. Said supports have lengthwise and through slots. Two plates on both sides and in center are connected by screw connections to said longitudinal supports. Rib rods are made with a tapered proximal end, with a cutting edge and self-tapping thread for connection with the rib bone tissue, and also can be connected to the ribs by a threaded joint. Costal hook is made in the form of U-shaped bracket, in which one leg is short and the other one – longer. At the short leg lower edge along external side is equipped with sharpened skew. Longer leg has a threaded hole in the center of the side surface for the proximal end of the rib rod, and in the lower left corner there is a blind hole of a smaller diameter for the end of the locking pin. Rods for installation in center of sternum are intended for installation on central longitudinal support for sternum. Rods for ribs are intended for installation on longitudinal supports for lateral fragments of ribs.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of repositioning of multiple flotation fractures of ribs in any plane and reduced time of operation with higher reliability of fixation of breast complex and avoiding migration of structural elements.
