FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating sternal fractures. Device for treating sternal fractures with displacement comprises a frame structure of plates with holes, in which there are threaded fasteners, with installed in them bone retainers in the form of screw with stops, interconnected by screw rods. Plates two, they are installed perpendicularly to axes of fragments of the sternum, in each by means of threaded fastening elements it is installed and fixed on two bone fixators in the form of screws which proximal end of the conic form is made, is equipped with a cutting edge and self-tapping thread, a length not exceeding the thickness of the sternum, and limited stop-thickening. In each pair, bone retainers are arranged on opposite sides of the corresponding plate and form angle of 60 degrees between each other.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of sternum fragments and their low-traumatic and stable fixation.
