FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reciprocating pumps. Reciprocating pump can contain a drive part and a pressure part functionally connected to the drive part. Pressure part may include a plunger, a cylinder operable to engage with the plunger and a head. Plunger, the cylinder and the head of the pressure part can each be made of martensitic stainless steel with high impact viscosity, containing, wt%: up to 0.06 carbon, 11.50 to 17.00 chromium, 3.50 to 6.00 nickel, from 0.30 to 1.50 molybdenum, from 0.01 to 0.20 vanadium, up to 0.060 aluminum, the rest is iron.
EFFECT: higher strength, corrosion resistance and impact viscosity of material, increased resistance of pump parts to aggressive and abrasive media.
