FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses methods and a system for feeding fuel into a fuel injection pump of an internal combustion engine. According to one example, pressure and/or temperature of fuel supplied to direct injection fuel pump can be controlled by cooling fuel or increasing pressure of fuel supplied to direct injection fuel pump, to provide fuel supply to said fuel pump in liquid state, which is necessary to ensure accuracy of fuel mass control supplied by direct-injection fuel pump to internal combustion engine and reduces probability of errors in air-fuel ratio in engine.
EFFECT: invention can be used in fuel management systems for internal combustion engines.
