FIELD: centrifugal apparatus.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to volumetric centrifugal processing of parts with granular working media and can be used in smoothing, polishing, and strengthening parts, primarily ones with a complex shape of the working surfaces. The processed parts, granular working bodies, and a process fluid are placed in containers whereon planetary motion and angular translation are imparted. The working load is compacted by the centrifugal forces caused by the planetary motion of the containers and the angular oscillations. The permissible value of the angle of displacement of the surface of the compacted load to the end walls of the containers due to the angular oscillations is selected in the specified range and determined based on the calculated ratio, with account to the centrifugal forces acting on the load during the planetary rotation of the containers and the axial momentum caused by the angular translations of the working load with the containers. Presented is the design of an apparatus for the implementation of the claimed method.

EFFECT: productivity of processing and quality of the processed surfaces of parts are increased.
