FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chairs for machine control, for example, for control over vehicles. In particular, it relates to an armchair used by an operator. Invention relates to a vehicle operator seat comprising a seat and a back which form a supporting structure. Back is hingedly fixed on the specified seat around an axis of an incline of a back with provision of the adjusted backrest inclination angle. Seat comprises rear seat panel with fixed inclination and front seat panel, inclination angle of which is variable. Back comprises the lower panel of the back and the upper panel of the back, the angle of lifting of which relative to the lower panel of the back is variable. During the use of the chair, the inclination of the backrest, inclination of the seat and lifting are configured to vary to bring the chair into different configurations.
EFFECT: such seat is intended, for example, to control a vehicle, such as an aircraft, when two operators are controlling the vehicle.
