SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to versions of a heating tool. In the first version, the instrument comprises a steam generator wherein a heat-releasing layer which contains an oxidizing metal, a carbon component, a water-absorbent polymer and water, and a water-absorbing sheet which carries water are laminated. Tool has a bag, part of which has air permeability and which contains this steam generator inside itself. Part of the oxidized metal and the carbon component is in contact with the water-absorbent polymer. Weight ratio of the water-absorbing sheet to the water-absorbent polymer contained in the heat-releasing layer is equal to or greater than 0.9 and equal to or less than 15. In the second version, the bulk of the water-absorbent polymer contained in the heat-releasing layer is equal to or greater than 20 g/m² and is equal to or less than 100 g/m² in dry condition, and the bulk of the water-absorbing sheet is equal to or greater than 50 g/m² and is equal to or less than 500 g/m² in dry state.

EFFECT: stable steam generation.
