FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate comprises: a main surface; a fastening surface opposite the main surface, a through hole for the screw and a first and a second long groove extending through the fastening surface, each of which includes a near side wall adjacent to the first adjacent fastening portion of the fastening surface and forming an acute angle with the first adjacent attachment portion, a distal side wall adjoining a second adjacent fastening portion of the fastening surface and forming an angle with the second adjacent attachment portion, and an upper wall connecting the proximal and distal side walls, at that, near side wall is located closer to through hole for the screw than that of far side wall relative to through hole for the screw.
EFFECT: minimization of phenomenon, at which cutting plate rises from cutting tool landing surface in process of cutting due to increased area, on which cutting plate is attached to cutting tool.
