SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cutting plate and to a cutting tool on which a cutting plate is installed. Cutting plate comprises top surface, bottom surface, side surface, cutting edge and fastening hole. Cutting edge includes a main cutting edge, a nose R-shaped part connected to the main cutting edge, and an auxiliary cutting edge connected to the nose R-shaped part. Upper surface includes chamfer part adjacent to cutting edge, inclined surface inclined downward from chamfer part, and bottom part of upper surface extending from inclined surface. First and second projecting parts are formed respectively, in which the first protruding part is connected to the chamfer part of the main cutting edge and is formed on the inclined surface of the main cutting edge in the section on which the inclined surface of the nose R-shaped part ends. Second projecting part is connected to the chamfer part of the auxiliary cutting edge and is formed on the inclined surface of the auxiliary cutting edge in the section on which the inclined surface of the nose R-shaped part ends.

EFFECT: preventing damage to the cutting edge, facilitating chip curling, as well as increasing service life during processing by heat dissipation.
