FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting plate for milling or slot cutting, etc. and cutting tool provided with said cutting plate. Cutting plate comprises three angles along its periphery. Upper main cutting edge is continuously located between appropriate angles and formed at boundary between top surface and first side surface, upper auxiliary cutting edge formed at boundary between top surface and second side surface. Lower surface has the same shape as the upper surface. Angle formed between upper main cutting edge and upper auxiliary cutting edge, which are located on both sides relative to each angle, is greater than or equal to 85° and less than 90°.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of cutting plate, which has high strength of attachment to cutting tool, thereby preventing shorter service life.
