FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing calcium salt of citric acid (calcium citrate). Method includes adding to citric acid in form of 10 % calcium carbonate solution in weight ratio of citric acid: calcium carbonate 1.5–1.6:1 at temperature from 16–18 to 40–45 °C, separation of sediment and drying at temperature of 105–110 °C to constant weight to obtain an end product in the form of anhydrous trisubstituted calcium citrate.
EFFECT: disclosed method simplifies technology of producing calcium citrate.
