FIELD: food industry; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing amorphous water-soluble salts of magnesium citrate. The method consists in evaporating an aqueous solution of magnesium citrate MgC6H6O7 with a concentration of 40, wt. %, at temperatures up to 60°C, after the glass transition of the solution, the product is dried in air at a temperature of 40-60°C to a constant mass.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain an amorphous water-soluble salt of magnesium citrate, which can be used as a part of food additives and other pharmacological preparations.
