FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a floating turbine for power generation and to an energy storage system using such a turbine. Floating turbine (10A-10E) comprises a rotating set of blades that rotate about a common axis and are connected to a power generation system configured to generate electric power during rotation thereof, a buoyancy control system configured to control the positive buoyancy of turbine (10A-10E), one or more air nozzles and a guide for guiding turbine (10A-10E) along the common axis during movement thereof. Air discharged from one or more air nozzles increases or reduces turbine lifting speed (10A-10E). Turbine (10A-10E) is made with possibility of submersion into water. Blades are made with possibility of rotation during turbine motion (10A-10E) through water.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at providing power generation in deep water areas.
