FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to radar ranging and can be used in radar stations for protection against pulse, including response, interference. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of compensating for radar interference based on reception of signals by the main and additional channels, on setting parameters of the automatic equalizer, providing for subtraction of signals received from the direction of the source of interference, during operation of the radar station when viewing the direction, the probe radiation is switched off for another period, the signals received in that period are considered to be a response interference, the parameters of the automatic equalizer are adjusted based on these signals, after which direction is surveyed. Technical result is achieved by the fact that a radar station for implementing an interference compensation method, comprising a main antenna, an additional antenna, main receiving-transmitting and additional receiving channels, automatic equalizer, synchronizer, input-output of the main antenna and additional output are connected to inputs of corresponding channels, main channel output and first output of additional channel are connected to first and second inputs of automatic equalizer, respectively, synchronizer first output is connected to automatic equalizer third input, probing signal generating device (GD) and gating device are connected, first input of which is connected to second output of additional channel, second output of synchronizer is connected to second input of gating device and to input of GD, output of which is connected to second input of main channel, and output of gating device is connected to fourth input of automatic equalizer.

EFFECT: compensation for pulse interference, while maintaining conditions for receiving signals reflected from the target.
