SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a rare-earth magnet, particularly a rare-earth magnet containing Sm, Fe and N, as well as a device for production thereof. Method of producing a rare-earth magnet involves mixing a magnetic powder containing Sm, Fe and N with modifier powder containing Zn metal to obtain a mixed powder. Filling the mold with mixed powder to produce filled product. Fusion of at least part of modifier powder in filled product with application of pressure 20 MPa or less to filled product or without application of pressure to produce intermediate molded product. Intermediate molded product is subject to liquid-phase sintering at pressure of 20 MPa or more to produce a sintered body. Device for its production.

EFFECT: invention improves magnetic properties, in particular, coercive force.
