FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an accelerated and highly sensitive method of detecting bacterial pathogens. Disclosed is a method of detecting bacteria, comprising providing one or more than one suspension, each containing at least one type of labeled test bacteriophages, which specifically bind to the type of bacteria to be detected; adding a sample to be checked for presence of at least one type of bacteria; filtering the obtained reaction mixture; detection of bacteria-bacteriophage complexes in concentrate; detection of unbound bacteriophages in filtrate; processing of obtained signals generated as a result of detection, and output of detection results to user. One or more suspensions further contain a labeled reference bacteriophage which does not bind to any type of bacteria to be detected, or labeled micro- or nanoparticles which do not bind to any type of bacteria to be detected; wherein the ratio of the total intensity of the signal of the reference bacteriophage in the concentrate and the total intensity of the signal of the reference bacteriophage in the filtrate is determined and compared with the ratio of the total intensity of the signal of the tested bacteriophage in the concentrate and the total intensity of the signal of the tested bacteriophage in the filtrate. Also disclosed are a reaction vessel, a cartridge and a measuring device for detecting bacteria in accordance with the described method.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides fast and reliable identification of bacterial pathogens, simple implementation and high sensitivity.
