FIELD: biology, genetic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of phage display and can be used for selection of bacteriophages expressing peptides and proteins that are bound with cell surface receptors and internalized. Bacteriophage or subgroup of bacteriophages are identified by contacting bacteriophages library expressing multiple of peptides with cell of some cells of mammal wherein the bacteriophage genome carries at least one gene encoding product to be determined. Invention relates to a method for isolation of mammal cells that internalized bacteriophage presenting in bacteriophages library that involves contacting bacteriophages library expressing multiple of peptides with mammal cell wherein bacteriophage carried gene encoding product to be determined, assay of product and isolation of mammal cells that express this product. Invention relates to a method for selection of bacteriophage expressing heterologous peptide that is bound with receptor of mammal cell surface and internalized. Method is carried out by contacting library of bacteriophages expressing multiple of peptides with mammal cell wherein bacteriophage carried gene encoding the product to be determined. Method involves assay of product and isolation of the bacteriophage gene encoding peptide from mammal cells expressing the product. Invention provides carrying out the identification of peptide or protein ligands in vitro or in vivo that are able for internalization.
EFFECT: improved methods for selection, identification and internalization.
