FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst for improving oxidation activity of methane in exhaust gas of a vehicle based on compressed natural gas or a static combustion system in excess air, which is designed so that first aluminum oxide impregnated with platinum, second aluminum oxide impregnated with palladium, and cerium component are deposited on a ceramic substrate, and the first aluminum oxide is further impregnated with a barium cocatalyst.
EFFECT: increased service life of catalyst intended for improvement of activity of methane oxidation in exhaust gas of transport facility.
