FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical microbiology and can be used for making vaccine preparations. What is presented is a method for producing a hemophilic b type conjugated vaccine. Method includes culturing Haemophilus influenzae type b "GKPM-Obolensk" strain B-7884 on a liquid nutrient medium with ribose addition, inactivating the culture by heating to 55±5 °C and holding 15±3 minutes, separation of biomass by centrifugation and recovery of polyribosylribitol phosphate (PRP) by sedimentation with 10 % cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). It is followed by concentration, purification, clarification, activation of PRP and its mixing with tetanus anatoxin. Obtained substance is then purified, sterilized, pharmaceutically acceptable carriers are added, dispensed and lyophilically dried.
EFFECT: method increases output of the end product.
