FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Transmission device has an assignment information generator which, during operation, assigns resources based on a resource unit (RU) of one or more terminal stations (STA) and generates assignment information which sets the RUs allocated for said one or more stations (STA); a transmission signal generator which, during operation, generates a transmission signal which includes a legacy preamble, an unmatched preamble and a data field, wherein the non-inherited preamble contains a first signal field and a second signal field, which transmits the set identifier (ID) and assignment information, wherein set identifier (ID) identifies one set of assignments comprising said or more stations (STA), and plurality of assignment indices, wherein the assignment information comprises an indication of resource allocation for each of the plurality of assignments referenced by the plurality of assignment indices; and transmitter, which, during operation, transmits generated transmission signal.
EFFECT: flexible frequency scheduling while reducing overhead for reporting resource assignment information.
