FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish industry and may be used in production of fodder fish mince. Method for production of fodder mince from fish raw material involves grinding frozen material at a constant temperature equal to temperature in the depth of frozen fish raw material. Grinding is performed by means of piston extruder with grinding grate and "sand glass" holes with diameter of holes in central part 7 mm. Degree of grinding, pressure and duration of grinding depend on the type of raw material and the size of cut pieces for extrusion. After milling the mince is packed, delivered for storage or further treatment in a sublimation drier. Storage temperature of the ready mince equals the temperature at which grinding is performed.

EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to ensure preservation of chemical and amino acid composition of fodder fish mince due to treatment of frozen raw materials bypassing the stage of defrostation.
