FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for processing ferritic-pearlitic steels includes equal-channel angular pressing at 20°C in a matrix with its channels crossing at 90° angle with two cycles of pressing along the "Vs" route with rotation of the blank by 90° after each pressing cycle. After pressing, subsequent low-temperature recrystallization annealing is carried out in the temperature range from 250 to 450°C during 1 hour with air cooling.
EFFECT: increase yield point, ultimate strength and toughness of ferritic-pearlitic steels.
