METHOD OF SOIL TREATMENT FOR MELON CROPS GROWING UNDER FILM Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A01B79/02 A01G22/00 A01G9/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method includes rotation of beds, loosening of soil, leveling, compaction and formation of irrigation furrows. Soil treatment zone is divided into three equal strips; at that, the middle strip is loosened to the depth of irrigation furrow formation. Soil strata of outermost strips are plowed with 180° rotation, laying them on bottom of own furrows without transverse displacement. Surface treatment of the plowed strips is performed, after that, along the outer edges of the treated strip, furrows are opened for further installation of the film frames. Then, an irrigation groove is formed in the middle of the treated zone, which provides formation of ridges on extreme strips. On formed crests soil is leveled with partial compaction, forming strips for subsequent sowing melons and gourds.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve quality of soil preparation for sowing of cucurbits under a film in tunnel shelters and to reduce energy intensity of soil treatment.
