SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering. Laser system for leak detection in nuclear power reactor heat carrier circuit comprises first and second laser generators, laser radiation meter, first measuring cell connected to first heat carrier circuit, two photoreceiving units, first controlled spectral filter, a first fiber-optic line with fiber adapters, two remote mirrors with control units, a processing and control unit, as well as four corner reflectors, four reflecting mirrors and six semitransparent mirrors, a second measuring cell connected to the second circuit of the heat carrier of the nuclear power reactor, a second fiber-optic line equipped with fiber adapters, three optical delay lines, a third photodetector unit, second and third controlled spectral filters, a unit of replaceable filters, two angle reflectors and five semitransparent mirrors.

EFFECT: invention allows rapid detection of heat carrier leakage from the heat carrier first circuit to the second heat carrier circuit.
