FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nuclear energy and measuring technology. The laser system for monitoring the atmosphere in the technical rooms of nuclear power plants contains the first and second laser generators, a laser radiation meter, a reference cell with a block for filling with a reference gas mixture, the first and second photodetector units, the first and second controllable spectral filters, the first and second fiber-optic lines with input and output fiber adapters, a remote mirror with a control unit, an optical delay line, a processing and control unit, the first and second corner reflectors, the first to fourth reflective mirrors and the first to seventh semitransparent mirrors. An optical switch, the first and second open optical resonators, each located in a separate controlled technical room of the nuclear power plant, have been introduced. In this case, open optical resonators are equipped with retractable corner reflectors.
EFFECT: invention improves sensitivity and accuracy of measuring the concentration level of molecular iodine and other uranium fission products in the atmosphere of the technical premises of the nuclear power plant.
