SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology and agriculture. Disclosed is an isolated strain of the type Mycosphaerella sp. NRRL B-50471, having suppressor activity against fusariosis, compositions and methods using said strain. Method for preventing fusariosis development involves growing a microbial strain or its culture in a growth medium or soil of a plant. Method of treating against fusariosis development involves applying an effective amount of a microbial strain or its culture onto a plant or on its environment. Invention also discloses a seed resistant to infection with Fusarium fungus, coated with a composition comprising a strain, and a cultivated plant resistant to infection with fungus Fusarium, artificially infected with the strain or its culture.
EFFECT: inventions are effective in controlling fusariosis of cereal plants, such as wheat and barley.
