SUBSTANCE: isolated strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NRRL B-50760, having suppression activity against fusarium, compositions, and methods using the specified strain are proposed. A method for the prevention of fusarium development includes growing a microbial strain or its culture in a growth medium or plant soil, and includes application to the plant or the medium surrounding it of the effective amount of the microbial strain or its culture. Compositions for fusarium suppression, containing a microbial strain or its culture, and a seed resistant to Fusarium fungus infection are also proposed.
EFFECT: inventions are effective in control of fusarium of cereal plants, such as wheat and barley.
