FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to adsorbent materials and use thereof. Adsorbent material for removing carbon dioxide from hydrocarbon streams contains a porous solid core of zeolite such as chabazite (CHA) or DDR and at least one coating layer on the core. Covering layer is made of zeolite, which has kinetic selectivity with respect to CO2 in comparison with CH4 higher than 200 and greater than the core, kinetic selectivity with respect to CO2 in comparison with CH4. Core has, larger than coating layer, adsorption vessel with respect to CO2. Invention also discloses adsorption contact columns and methods of separating gases using disclosed adsorbent materials.
EFFECT: invention expands the range of materials with improved capacitance and selectivity by CO2.
