FIELD: microwave devices design.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of design of microwave devices, in particular to the design of energy outputs of microwave devices. The waveguide energy output of the microwave device contains a transforming segment of an irregular waveguide, in which a quarter-wave loop is located. On the side of the microwave device, the segment of the irregular waveguide includes a segment of the coaxial line connected to the central part of the end wall of the waveguide. The inner conductor of the coaxial line is connected to the free end of the loop, made in the form of a crescent-shaped metal jumper and short-circuited with one of the wide walls of the waveguide at a distance L from the free end, while 0.3a≤L≤0.5a, where a is the width of the waveguide with side of the microwave device. The free end of the loop can be permanently connected to the inner conductor of the coaxial line.
EFFECT: reduction of the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) to values less than 1.7 in the operating frequency band of 7.5% and 1.5 in the band of 5.5% while ensuring the transmission of microwave energy of a high power level, simplifying the design of the waveguide energy output and increasing it reliability.
