METHOD FOR PREPARING BIOLOGICAL TISSUE SAMPLES IN PARAFFIN BLOCKS WITH WIRING DEFECTS FOR HISTOLOGICAL EXAMINATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/48 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to histological examination, pathologoanatomical and histological diagnostics of normal and pathological tissues of human or animal with microscopic diagnostics of colored paraffin sections of tissue on one glass. Method involves three stages of treating defective samples of biological tissue in paraffin blocks. At first step dewaxing is performed and paraffin is removed from samples of biological tissues by melting paraffin blocks and processing in xylene. At the second stage primary structure of biological tissue is recovered by high-temperature treatment in Tris-EDTA buffer solution with pH 9.0. At the third stage, recovered samples of biological tissue are subjected to repeated standard laboratory treatment with observance of standards of fixation, wiring, filling into paraffin blocks and manufacture of histological micropreparations.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating tissue biopsy material fixation and recording defects, providing more accurate histological diagnosis, and in some cases preventing repeated biopsy of the patients.
