SUBSTANCE: positioning device is fastened in the upper fitting chamber and includes an insert having a first end and a second end, as well as a rear side, a first side and a second side, each of which passes from the first and second ends and connects them to form a through passage with the front side. Pass through passage is made with possibility to ensure passage of carrying device of diaphragm plate through it. First and second sides include a first cutout and a second cutout, respectively, which are configured to provide a gear through them. Gear wheel interacts with the grooves on the carrying device of the diaphragm plate for passing the carrying device of the diaphragm plate through the upper chamber. Positioning device provides coordinated and repeated alignment at direction of the carrying device of the diaphragm plate into the fitting and from it. Essence: performing interaction of grooves on opposite ends of bearing device of diaphragm plate with first drive gear and second drive gear, wherein carrying device of diaphragm plate is located in through passage of insert, first driving gear passes through first cutout in insert, and second drive gear passes through second cutout in insert, actuation of the first and second drive gear by means of the upper drive and the carrying device of the diaphragm plate through the insert.

EFFECT: invention relates to a device and a method of positioning a bearing device of a diaphragm plate in a diaphragm fitting.
