FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glasses with lens protection in folded position against impacts or friction. Claimed glass frame comprises a front frame, two temples (4, 5) connected to the front frame by means of hinges, which allow the rotation of temples (4, 5) from the operating position, substantially perpendicular to the front frame, allowing to wear glasses, into initial position, by substantially parallel to front frame, allowing to remove glasses. Front frame comprises two rims (2, 3) for retaining the lenses and, possibly, bridge (1) connecting the rims, and there is at least one rotary device (C), which makes it possible to mutually rotate rims (2, 3) along at least 180° around rotary axis (X-X). Rotary device is located in area, asymmetric and shifted downwards relative to bridge (1), and rotary axis (X-X) lies essentially in plane containing two centers of rims (2, 3). Plane is perpendicular to rims (2, 3), and temples (4, 5) are hinged directly to rims (2, 3).
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of lens damage risk when glasses are folded onto support plane.
