FIELD: mining industry; construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of high-security explosive devices, namely low-voltage bridge electric detonators, and can be used as a small-sized means of initiation during blasting operations. An electric detonator containing a housing in which an explosive substance (ES) charge is placed in the form of mountings: output from a high-density ES and initiating from a deflagrating high-density ES, an initiator mounted on a sealing pad and made in the form of a dielectric plate with layers of conductive materials applied to it, spaced on opposite sides of the axis to form a contact zone along the axis perpendicular to the axis of the electric detonator, and terminals. The housing is made in the form of a charging part and a base connected to each other. In the charging part there is ES. The sealing pad is made of dielectric and is located at the base. A dielectric concentrator is installed on the initiator, made in the form of a washer with a hole directed to the charging part of the housing and having the shape of a body of rotation. An additional layer of conductive material is applied to the contact zone of the layers of conductive materials.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of activation, reliability and speed of the electric detonator and reduce energy consumption.
