FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of a wide range of composite materials and can be widely used in production of catalysts, carriers, sorbents, and so forth. Invention relates to a method of producing composite frame materials, such as carriers, catalysts and sorbents, using 3D printing, characterized by obtaining 3D printing frame consisting of metal, metal-like material, including alloys, carbides, borides of various compounds of any structure, in the range of sizes from 10 mcm to 500 cm along one of the main axes with subsequent introduction into the obtained frame of porous material with high specific surface area, such as a support, a catalyst or a sorbent and fixing it to the carcass material. Invention also relates to an embodiment of the method of producing composite frame materials, such as carriers, catalysts and sorbents, using 3D printing.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining novel materials of known chemical composition, solving industrial problems associated with diffusion limitations, heat and mass transfer, as well as reduced porosity effect and effect of dead volume on processes.
