FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and can be used in treating tumors. Method involves introducing a water-containing suspension of liposomes of the same diameter with an encapsulated anti-tumor drug preparation. Before administering a suspension of liposomes of the same diameter with an encapsulated anti-tumor drug, three suspensions of liposomes of different diameter are introduced, containing inside the magnetic nanoparticles with the same value of the parameter of T2-relaxation in each suspension of liposomes. First suspension is obtained by passing through an extruder equipped with a membrane with a pore diameter of 200 nm; the second suspension is obtained by passing through an extruder equipped with a membrane with pore diameter of 100 nm; the third suspension is obtained by passing through an extruder equipped with a membrane with pore diameter of 50 nm. Introduction of each subsequent suspension of liposomes with magnetic nanoparticles is carried out in 20–26 hours after introduction of the previous suspension, after introduction of each suspension of liposomes by a method of magnetic resonance tomography degree of accumulation of liposomes in a tumor tissue depending on diameter of liposomes is determined. Diameter of the liposomes with the highest degree of accumulation in the tumor tissue is then selected, and the drug preparation is administered intravenously encapsulated into liposomes with the same lipid composition and diameter providing the highest degree of accumulation in the tumor tissue.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher clinical effectiveness in oncological diseases by slowing down tumor growth.
