FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for continuous production of plastic bags and a method for production thereof. Purpose of the invention is installation of drain branch pipe 4 on the first or second material 1 or 2, and also manufacturing of plastic package from materials of side inserts 3 in addition to the first and the second sheet materials 1 and 2. At any moment of periodic feed of first and second sheet materials 1 and 2, holes are formed, as well as positioning and insertion of drain branch pipes 4 into said holes. At any moment of periodic supply of first and second sheet materials after application of first and second sheet materials 1 and 2 on each other, first and second sheet materials 1 and 2 are thermally bonded to each other in longitudinal direction by longitudinal gluing device 11, as well as heat bonding of webs of first and second sheet materials 1 and 2 with materials of side inserts 3 in transverse direction by transverse gluing device 12.

EFFECT: proposed are apparatus for making a plastic bag and a method of making a plastic bag.
