SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method and apparatus for the continuous manufacture of plastic bags in which the material of the lower insert does not need to be supplied from another feed roller. First and second webs (1, 2) sheet material are superimposed on each other and fed in the longitudinal direction. Plastic film is cut along longitudinal cutting lines (13) and (14) to separate it on first sheet (1) of sheet material and several sheets of material of lower insert (3, 4) before folding sheets (1, 2) of sheet material. Then web material of lower insert (3, 4) are sent and fed to first or second canvas (1) or (2) sheet material through device (21, 28) material direction of the lower insert. Plastic bags are made in pairs. Installation for continuous manufacture of plastic bags includes a device for feeding sheet material and cutting devices for cutting the corresponding web into several parts along its longitudinal axis and feeding individual webs to form bags.

EFFECT: technical result achieved when using the group of inventions consists in ensuring continuous manufacturing of plastic bags, excluding the feeding of the bottom insert from another feed roller and the avoidance of misalignment of patterns.
