FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, and more specifically to docking units. Device for tightening of peripheral docking mechanism comprises cable winding drum and electric drive with reduction gear. There are springs of compensation of difference of lengths of cables at final retraction, installed on bodies of docking ring latches, and cables with one end attached to springs. Total number of drums corresponds to the number of cables, besides, to each cables winding drum the corresponding cable is attached by its second end; also power reduction gears are introduced, the number of which is equal to the number of cables winding drum. Power reduction gears are connected by their input shafts with electric drive by means of mechanical transmissions, and between the cables winding drums and output shafts of power reduction gears there are cam washers. Coil winding springs are connected by their one end to cables winding drums and by other ends to the support. In the contraction device, the support can be a fixed base.
EFFECT: higher speed of extension of docking mechanism from initial position.
