FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly, to docking devices. Device for tightening docking units of spacecraft comprises latch mechanisms, rods, as well as drive. Stems in rods are articulated with docking ring. Device has drums of cable winding, in accordance with number of cables installed on housing of docking device in center of fixed base and interconnected by mechanism of torque transmission, made in form of input shaft of moment transfer from reduction gear. Power stage of the drive reduction gear is located inside the drive arranged in the center of the fixed base. Each cable winding drum, input shaft of moment transfer from reduction gear, output shafts of moment transfer from reduction gear and drive are arranged on main axis of housing of docking unit. Cables are made with equal length, besides, there is a cable slack sampling element arranged between the cable winding drum and the drive reduction gear output shaft.
EFFECT: higher fail-safety of device for tightening docking units of spacecrafts.
