FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment, namely to thermally activated chemical current sources (TACCS), and can be used as power supply source of power electric units. Battery comprises housing consisting of two sealed shells with heat insulation of space between them, note here that two assemblies of TACCS alternating with heating elements are placed in housing coaxially and electrically insulated. Resistive heating element is mounted on case inner shell. Both assemblies and resistive heating elements are connected to switchboard independently.
EFFECT: higher stability of temperature mode for internal assembly of TACCS elements during long-term discharge of battery is technical result of invention; besides, provision is made for selection of battery discharge mode.
