FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermally activated chemical current sources (TACCSs) and may be used in electric power supply sources for both control means and active feeding of power electric apparatus. The thermal battery contains a body with thermal insulation and external terminals, two or more assemblages of TACCS elements (electrically connected in parallel and arranged, one after another, on the central insulated rod), each TACCS element consisting of a cathode, electrolyte and an anode; in the axial direction the TACCS elements sequentially alternate with pyroheating elements. The battery contains the central cathode and anode current collectors, enveloping the central insulated rod and fixed on the corresponding current transfers of the external terminals and the current transfers of the assemblage of thermally activated chemical current source elements most remotely positioned from the external terminals; additionally, the battery contains tightening elements of the assemblages.
EFFECT: increase of specific electric parameters of the TACCS thermal battery, prevention of loosening of electric contact between the assemblage elements and exclusion of breakage spots and electromagnetic noise occurrence.
