FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial heat power engineering and can be used in production of wood pellets as part of power engineering complex. Method of drying wet wood wastes in vertical axisymmetric two-chamber plant by means of periodic tangential input of particles of recycling raw material in preheated air flow into outer annular chamber, their recuperative heating in lifting-vortex circulation movement by combustion products of boiler unit on the side of inner cylindrical chamber, output from moisture particles in vaporous state and subsequent discharge of steam-air flow into furnace of boiler unit together with cooled in internal cylindrical chamber combustion products, output of dehydrated recycling raw material with flows of air heated in external chamber and its cooling in heat recovery unit. Heating of recycling material in external annular chamber is carried out recuperative at speed of combustion products of boiler unit on the side of inner cylindrical chamber vc.p=(0.70–0.75)vcm, m/s, where vmix is speed of mixtures of heated air and particles of recycling raw material introduced tangentially into external annular chamber at temperature Tmix=(0.45–0.55)Tc.p, K, temperature of combustion products, extracted from gas duct of boiler unit after steam superheater, besides, dimensions of plant are selected from ratio H=(1.2–1.4)D, m, where H is height of drying unit, m, D-diameter of drying unit, m.
EFFECT: removal of moisture from particles of wood wastes with minimum burning thereof.
