FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, namely to centrifugal separation of mixtures by density at enrichment of ores and sands of deposits of gold, platinum and other heavy minerals. Centrifugal concentrator includes frame, feeding and unloading devices, bowl, rigidly mounted on hollow shaft, which by one end is installed on frame hinged with elimination of bowl rotation around its own axis, and by the other end through the bearing it is connected to the carrier, which gives precession motion to the cup, device for adjustment of angle of the cup axis inclination to the axis of the drive shaft of the carrier. Bowl is made of two sections. First section is made in the form of a truncated cone stepped adjoining its base to the second section made with a large diameter in the form of a cylinder or a weakly conical drum with an inclination angle of the generatrix less than the inclination angle of the bowl axis. Second section is equipped, for maintenance and unloading of heavy fraction, with annular slit and overlapping annular threshold, which is fixed with longitudinal mobility on hollow shaft. Shaft is provided with holes to feed water into zone of bowl second section.
EFFECT: high efficiency of extracting particles of small size, as well as high efficiency.
