FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, namely to the centrifugal separation of mixtures by density during the enrichment of ores and sands of deposits of gold, platinum and other heavy minerals. The centrifugal concentrator includes a frame, a rigidly interconnected two-section bowl, a feeding and unloading device and a hollow shaft, which is mounted on the frame pivotally at one end with the exception of the rotation of the bowl around its own axis, and the other end is connected through a bearing to the carrier, giving the bowl a precessional movement, a device for adjusting and setting the angle of inclination of the bowl axis to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft of the carrier. The second section of the bowl is made in the form of a set of fixed catching rings arranged to form grooves between them. Each groove is made in the form of a snail with a window for unloading heavy fraction, blocked by a valve with a device for opening it. Adjacent grooves and catching rings are made with equal dimensions or with successive changes in their sizes.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of separation, as well as an increase in the degree of extraction of small-sized mineral particles.
