FIELD: metrology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metrology, in particular to means of measuring distances, sizes and shapes of objects. Disclosed is a method of determining sizes and shapes of a bottom pipe, in which flanges are connected by a tuning template, performing measurements using an electronic device and processing data using a computer to obtain a drawing of the bottom pipe. At that, the adjustment template is assembled from separate elements with known geometrical characteristics, and as electronic device 3D scanner is used, which is located on one side of the assembled tuning template, after which scanning of the adjustment template is performed with the help of specified 3D-scanner. Further, when processing data on a computer based on the results of said scanning, as well as known geometric characteristics of elements from which the adjustment template is assembled, 3D model of the bottomhole pipe with calculated dimensions and shape is created.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensity of determination of shape and sizes of bottom pipe.
