FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to metrology, in particular to means of measuring distances, sizes and shapes of objects when producing rigid ship pipelines of limited length. In the method of manufacturing a ship bottomhole pipe with flanges using a working tooling, including two simulators of end sections of a bottomhole pipe with rods and bases, location-acoustic measuring station LAMS is used as an electronic measurement device, comprising an acoustic rod with a pointed tip, a start button and a three-microphone receiving antenna connected through an electronic unit to an electronic computer. Working tooling includes two downhole pipe end sections simulators, each of which contains a rod rigidly fixed along the normal in the centring base centre, repeating the shape of the downhole pipe standard flanges, with step-by-step arrangement on rods of control points deepened to the level of the central axis of the rod. Method of manufacturing a bottomhole pipe with flanges using working equipment is universal for use in various measuring devices for recording coordinates of control points, which determine the electronic model of the shape of the pipe, existing in the global instrument-making industry.

EFFECT: development of simpler and cheaper technology (method) of determining the shape of a ship bottomhole pipe at the place of its installation and reduction of labour intensity during its subsequent manufacture.
