FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for data transmission. Optical transmitting device comprises: optical connector connecting unit, to which optical cable connector is connected; light-emitting end configured to emit light for transmitting an optical signal through an optical cable and configured to emit light onto a reflective surface of the connector. Device also comprises drive unit configured to actuate reflecting surface for refraction of light emitted to reflecting surface, in direction of optical path of optical cable transmission by means of refraction on reflecting surface in case connector is connected in first orientation, and configured to drive the reflective surface for refraction of light emitted to the reflecting surface in the optical path direction of the optical cable through refraction on the reflecting surface in the case where the connector is connected in a second orientation which is different from the first orientation.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of connection between devices for optical transmission even when changing orientation of connector.
