SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for data transmission. Optical transmission device comprises a port of the optical coupling device, a first light emitting device and a second light emitting device. Port of the optical connector is configured to be connected to the connector of the optical cable in a first orientation or a second orientation. First light emitting device is configured to transmit the first optical signal for transmission over an optical cable. First optical signal transmitted by the first light emitting device is reflected by the area of the connecting device when the connecting device is connected in the first orientation. Second light emitting device is adapted to transmit a second optical signal for transmission over an optical cable. Second optical signal transmitted by the second light emitting device is reflected by the indicated area when the connecting device is connected in a second orientation different from the first orientation.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of the possibility of transmitting light when the direction of the connecting device is changed.
